My dog is one of those dogs that is obsessed with a tennis ball. He is very well trained on stay and basic commands but he has a hard time making eye contact and ignoring a ball. So I've been practicing basic obedience with him indoors in the living room with a ball on the ground. And then I'll have him sit and stay and I'll throw the ball past him.
