The “Secret” No One Teaches About Coming When Called

November 9th, 2011
By Eric Letendre

Today you are going to learn the most important “Secret” to teaching your dog to come when called. This secret is not taught by other trainers but first…

…a story.

As many of you know, I did not enjoy school. In fact I HATED it and as you can guess, my grades were bad.

Don’t get me wrong, I love learning and reading. My library is huge and I am always taking classes and attending seminars.

I guess by today’s standards, I would be classifed as ADHD.

I would sit in the class room and stare out the window wishing I was outside doing anything other than sitting in a room listening to a boring teacher drone on and on.

One word would describe what I was thinking of most of the day.

Have you guessed it?

FREEDOM!

And that same word is the secret to getting your dog to come back when called.

The dogs that get good at coming when called have a developed sense of freedom.

When an owner is having a difficult time teaching their dog to come when called, it usually has more to do with the dog wanting to party than understanding the command.

Think about a dog’s life. They spend most of it under some type of confinement. They are in a crate, house, fenced in area, car, kennel, on leash, etc.

Who can blame them for refusing to come when called, why would a dog come racing back to the owner when they know the owner is going to put them back on leash or in the car or in the house?

The dog is going to maximize his freedom when he can unless…

…your dog develops a sense of freedom.

I can hear some of you saying:

“Okay, Mr. Amazing Dog Training Man, how the heck is my dog going to develop a sense of freedom when he takes off every time he is loose?”

Here’s the rub: You don’t let your dog off-leash, you never put your dog in a situation where he can take off and get lost or hurt.

In my next blog post I will share with you how to safely help your dog develop a sense of freedom so stay tuned…

All the best,

Eric

The Strange Solution To Your Dog’s Pulling Problem

October 22nd, 2011
By Eric Letendre

Just like you, I used to suffer from a dog that would pull a tree out of the ground, roots and all.

The constant pulling and using the choke chain were miserable.

You see, before I became The Amazing Dog Training Man, I had a dog that would literally drag me down the street.

Because I didn’t know any better, I went down to the local pet store and they handed me a choke collar.

The collar made the situation worse and I felt terrible putting it on my dog every time I went for a walk.

It was just miserable.

And I really feel for anyone else putting up with a dog that pulls like a pack of Alaskan sled dogs completing the Iditarod.

But you know what?

It doesn’t have to be this way.

You see, one day while I was going for a walk, I had a kind of weird idea about how to solve my dog’s pulling problem. I decided to get rid of the choke collar!

So I tried it to see what would happen. I also decided to stop walking, or go in the other direction every time my dog pulled.

And much to my surprise … it worked!

In fact, it worked so quickly I almost thought it was a fluke.

But it wasn’t a fluke.

It DOES work.

And I believe it can eliminate your dog’s pulling problem, too.

I show you exactly what I did and how you can do the same thing in my Dog Training Inner Circle.

But hurry.

Right now it’s priced low.

That won’t be the case forever.

Go there today and watch your dog’s pulling problem vanish by tomorrow.

P.S. If you become a member today, I’ll also include my book ”The Amazing Dog Training Man” in digital form. Here is what you’ll discover in the book:

* A “short cut” way for ending behavior problems. (Discover the root cause of 80% of behavior problems and how this short cut can eliminate a lot of headaches)

* The single biggest mistake new dog owners make before they even start training. (This mistake almost guarantees failure unless you avoid it.)

* The #1 “big mistake” people make when choosing a training collar that can have life-long harmful effects

* The incredible dog training secret I learned from an Ex-Russian Special Forces Instructor that can immediately make the most hyper dog calm and controlled in any situation.

* An almost unknown way to use a bagel to stop your dog from stealing food off your counters and tables forever

* Simple psychological “tricks” that teach your dog that you are pack leader. You can teach your dog that you are the leader without ever using force or harmful techniques.

* What to do if your dog does not come back to you when you call. Discover the simple training technique that attracts your dog to you like a small piece of metal to a high powered magnet.

* A unique (but extremely simple and proven) way for any dog owner to quickly stop their dog from pulling on leash.

But you can’t put this off.

The “No-Headache” Guide To Dog Training

October 11th, 2011
By Eric Letendre

Last week I got an email from a subscriber that was extremely frustrated.

She was upset because she had been researching dog training and was confused by all the different methods being taught.

“It can get confusing.” I wrote back.

There are a lot of “experts” on the internet claiming to be dog trainers. The unfortunate fact is that dog training on the internet is a very popular niche with a lot of people that have never trained a dog in their life.

A few years back, I saw the internet explode with a huge influx of dog training gurus and decided to write my book, “The Amazing Dog Training Man”.

The book was written in story form to explain the reasons behind the methods.

You see, a good dog trainer will explain WHY he uses a certain technique.

For example, this excerpt is from Chapter 2 of “The Amazing Dog Training Man”:

“Confusion is probably the biggest problem faced by new dog owners. I see the look of frustration on the faces of dog owners coming through my doors very often when they decide to bring their little terror in for training.

“The sad fact is that confusion and frustration often lead to anger. Anger often leads to punishment.

Punishment often leads to problems between the dog and owner.

“Once the relationship between the dog and owner goes sour, things quickly disintegrate.”

I could tell that he was genuinely troubled when this happened.

“Over the next few weeks,” he went on, “I’ll show you how to develop a great relationship with your dog. I am not a guy that is going to regurgitate the same old theories and methods that you read in most dog training books.

“Instead, I am going to explain the reasoning behind why I train the way I do, and why you should apply the same methods.”
