Rach and I came home yesterday after a great time in New York attending the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. This year was particularly exciting.
Stump, a Sussex Spaniel was the crowd favorite. The crowd went wild every time ole Stump came into the ring. When all the dogs came out for Best In Show, Stump got the loudest applause and the crowd was screaming for Stump to win.
It was almost like being at a rock concert.
The amazing thing about Stump is that he is 10 years old, the oldest dog to ever win Westminster. On top of that Stump was retired. Back in 2004 Stump spent 19 days in a pet hospital and was retired. Coming out of retirement this year Stump was up against some pretty heavy competition.
Stump beat out a giant schnauzer that was the nation’s top show dog, a favored Brussels griffon, a Scottish deerhound named Tiger Woods, a standard poodle with 94 best in show wins, a Scottish terrier and a puli. I am putting together a behind the scenes video with everything we did at Westminster that should be ready this weekend.
Stump’s handler said that this was Stump’s last show and is really retired this time (sounds a little like Brett Favre).
Anyway, in honor of Stump I’ve decided to offer you the "The Stump Special." You can become an Inner Circle Member for 50%. The Stump Special gives you full access to the Dog Training Inner Circle private website.
But you need to act fast, The Stump Special is only good until Tuesday Feb. 17th.

Look forward to seeing you in the Inner Circle.
All the best,
